Rills meters actions, not orchestration. Logic, branching, approvals, and paused workflows are free. Workflow Credits and AI Credits are included with every plan.
#Plans
| Plan | Price | Workflow Credits/mo | AI Credits/mo | Team |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby | $29 / mo | 10,000 | 1,000 | 1 |
| Professional | $99 / mo | 50,000 | 5,000 | 5 |
| Business | $349 / mo | 200,000 | 20,000 | 25 |
| Enterprise | Custom | 1,000,000+ | Custom | ∞ |
Hobby includes a 14-day free trial. Credits don’t roll over. See the pricing page for the full feature comparison.
#Switching plans
Upgrade or downgrade takes effect immediately. Your included credits and spending cap reset to the new tier’s defaults at the time of change. Runs already in flight aren’t interrupted.
#Billing cycle
Monthly, anchored to the day you subscribed. Each period runs start-to-end, credits reset on the first day of the next period.
Invoices and receipts are managed by Polar (our merchant of record). The Polar customer portal is linked from your billing settings.
#Payment failures
Three-day grace period. Workflows continue to run during that window. If payment isn’t resolved by the end of the grace period, active workflows pause until payment is sorted. Resolving the payment automatically resumes them, no manual restart.
#What costs credits
#Workflow Credits
For things that touch the outside world or run your code:
- External API calls and integration actions, 1–3 credits per call
- Custom code execution, 5 credits per run
- Email sends and file operations, 1–5 credits depending on size
- Scheduled trigger checks, 0.1 credits per check
#AI Credits
Each AI Credit is $0.01. A model call consumes credits based on the underlying token cost. Short prompts on small models run around 1 credit per call; longer calls on larger models can run 3–10+.
#Free, always
- Approvals (review, approve, reject, edit)
- Conditions, loops, delays, transforms, set-variable
- Triggers (manual, schedule, webhook, integration event)
- Workflow orchestration and waiting
- Paused runs
#Overage pricing
When you exceed your included quota, additional usage bills at your tier’s overage rate.
| Plan | Workflow Credits | AI Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Hobby | $1.50 per 1,000 | $1.00 per 100 |
| Professional | $1.00 per 1,000 | $1.00 per 100 |
| Business | $0.75 per 1,000 | $1.00 per 100 |
| Enterprise | Volume-based | Volume-based |
Overage is calculated per period. Higher tiers have lower per-unit Workflow Credit overage.
#Spending caps
Each plan has a default spending cap set to 50% of the subscription price:
- Hobby: $14.50
- Professional: $49.50
- Business: $174.50
- Enterprise: Custom
When you hit the cap, workflows that would consume additional credits pause until you raise the cap or the next billing cycle starts. Any already-running steps finish, but the next billable step doesn’t start.
Raising the cap (or the period rolling over) automatically resumes everything paused. You can adjust caps in Settings → Billing.
#Usage alerts
Automated email alerts at two thresholds:
- 80%: heads-up that you’re close to the included quota
- 100%: included credits exhausted, overage billing has started
Tracked separately for Workflow Credits and AI Credits. Each threshold sends one alert per period. Alerts go to the workspace owner.
#Data retention
Run logs, step input/output, and run history are retained based on your plan:
| Plan | Retention |
|---|---|
| Hobby | 7 days |
| Professional | 14 days |
| Business | 30 days |
| Enterprise | Custom |
After the retention period, run data is deleted. Workflow definitions, integration connections, and billing history are kept indefinitely.
You can override retention per workflow if some workflows need a longer audit trail than others.
Audit logs (who-did-what tracking, available on Pro+) have 2× the standard retention period.
#Support
- Hobby: Community support
- Professional: Email support (24-hour response)
- Business: Priority support (12-hour response)
- Enterprise: Custom SLA
#Tips for managing credits
- Add approval gates without worrying, they’re free.
- Use logic and conditions to filter out work before it hits a paid step.
- Archive scheduled workflows you no longer need (trigger checks bill even when the workflow doesn’t proceed).
- Pick the cheapest model that does the job. Haiku and GPT 4.1 are 5–10× cheaper than Opus or GPT 5.2 for classification work.
- Review Settings → Usage weekly to spot workflows with surprise consumption.
#Viewing your usage
Settings → Usage shows:
- Current period dates
- Workflow Credits and AI Credits used / included / remaining
- Free counters (approvals, logic ops) so you can see how much we’re handling for free
- Per-workflow breakdown, find the workflows responsible for the most usage
