Make Pricing Calculator
See what your operation volume really costs on Make.com, and what the same workload costs on Rills. Enter your numbers below.
Make bills every module run as an operation.
Each executed module draws an operation from your monthly credit bundle, so a step-heavy scenario spends credits faster than its run count implies.

Methodology
How volumes are normalized
Each platform bills a different unit, so the calculator converts your task volume before it picks a plan.
- Per step Zapier and Make bill every step. A task (Zapier) or operation (Make) is any executed step; both equal your task volume one-for-one.
- Per run n8n bills per workflow execution. Steps inside a run are free, so your volume is divided by your average steps per workflow.
- Per action Rills bills only action steps. Each billable action is 2 workflow credits; triggers, logic, and human approvals are free, so only your billable-action share converts.
Assumptions
- Prices are published list prices for annual billing; the monthly toggle uses each vendor's published monthly price where one exists (annual-only plans are flagged).
- AI features, add-ons, promotional pricing, and trials are excluded.
- n8n self-hosted (free software, user-specific server and ops costs) is not modeled.
- Per-seat value (e.g. plans bundling many user seats) is noted but not priced.
- Where a vendor publishes EUR pricing, amounts are converted to USD and noted.
- Rills plans include a monthly spending cap you control; the calculator shows uncapped metered overage.

Make pricing questions
How do Make's operations and credits work?
Make bills every executed module as one operation (drawn from your monthly credit bundle). A scenario with eight modules that runs 1,000 times a month is roughly 8,000 operations — every module counted, supervised or not. The credit pool resets monthly and unused credits don't roll over.
Is Make cheaper than Zapier?
Usually per step, yes. Make's Core plan starts at $12/mo annual ($16 monthly) for 10,000 operations, which is a lower per-unit price than Zapier's per-task plans at comparable volume. The catch is the same: every module run consumes a credit, so a step-heavy scenario burns the bundle fast. Enter your numbers above for the exact comparison.
Does every module in a Make scenario cost a credit?
Effectively yes — each executed module is an operation. That makes Make economical for lean scenarios and expensive for ones with many enrichment, formatting, or lookup steps, because the plumbing counts the same as the action you cared about.
What does the same volume cost on Rills instead of Make?
Rills meters only billable action steps; triggers, routing, branching logic, and human approvals are free, and a paused workflow costs $0 while it waits on you. Set your billable-action share above to see how much of a credit-per-module bill is actually plumbing you'd stop paying for.
How accurate are these Make prices?
The tier table shows a last-verified date and links to Make's pricing page. Prices are snapshots of published list prices and change often, so confirm on make.com before buying. AI features and add-ons are excluded because they price too differently to compare fairly.
Run this volume on Rills.
Approvals, logic, and paused workflows never cost a credit — you pay for the actions that actually execute.
